Tours, events, workshops
Our exhibition presents different futures. Visitors can discover exciting future options in the thinking spaces of man, nature and technology and develop their own attitudes to controversial topics. Here you can read more about our guided tours and register. The Forum is the event area of Futurium. With these events we provide impulses to discuss with you ways into a future worth living. The programme focuses on the central question of Futurium: "How do we want to live in the future?" Workshops are held regularly in the Futurium Lab. With methods from futurology and design you will learn to explore and design the future.
Audio Guide and Kids’ Guide
Now we’ve got something for your ears: with our audio guides, your visit to Futurium is about to become even more of a multimedia experience. Using them couldn’t be simpler: just log into the Wi-Fi with your smartphone, put on your headphones, scan the QR code – and off you go! The tour lasts around 45 minutes and will take you around the highlights of the exhibition and Lab. You can either follow the predefined tour or choose your own stopping points on the spot. An interactive map and number markings will help you with your orientation.
And the kids won’t be disappointed either: Nubi, our digital ghost, will be floating with them to ten very special points in the exhibition. He’ll cheerfully provide them with exciting information, let them solve tricky puzzles and take them on a visit to the other charming creatures living at Futurium.
The free web app of the audio guide works like a conventional website. You don’t need to download an app or use mobile data. Simply use the menu to adjust the various settings. The audio guide includes a text transcription for people with hearing impairments. For the perfect listening experience, we recommend you bring your own headphones.
