Cancer research of the future!
Future X Change
According to the German Centre for Cancer Registry Data, nearly one in two people in Germany develop cancer at some point in their lives. Thanks to research, we already know a lot about how cancer develops and how cancer cells behave. These findings are helping to heal more and more patients. We invite visitors to discover together with our experts new and exciting approaches and trends in cancer research, among others, the bestselling author and presenter Sonya Kraus.
Forum
Duration: 1 Hour and 30 Minutes
At “Future X Change – Cancer research of the future!”, visitors can learn about new diagnostic technologies in cancer research. We’ll be presenting preventive options, putting personalised cancer therapies to the test, discussing the role of patients and talking about why it’s so important for them to participate actively in cancer research.
Our experts research and work at universities, scientific institutions, companies, clinics, treatment centres, patient advocacy groups and foundations. They’ll be presenting their work to the whole group, while at themed islands of information, interested visitors will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with them and become better acquainted with cancer research.
