Behind the doors of large data centres lie the hubs of the digital world. Here, gigantic amounts of data are retrieved, processed and managed. Around the clock, continuous data pulses are sent all over the world. For most of us, these control centres remain hidden. What happens there manifests itself to us solely through the glow and flickering of our computers and digital devices. These form the rhythmical points of light in our everyday lives.
